Frankfurt Digital Finance 2025
ALREADY THE SIXTH TIME: SUCCESSFUL IMPLEMENTATION OF THE EUROPEAN FLAGSHIP EVENT
Max Hunzinger, Managing Director of MIT, is co-founder of **FRANKFURT DIGITAL FINANCE** together with Corinna Egerer. Together they have developed an innovative event concept - an annual event format that brings together the European financial industry on future topics at the Frankfurt financial center. Here, corporates, start-ups, public sector, academia and investors from across Europe discuss current industry topics in breadth, engage in intensive networking and explore future partnerships. In addition, Frankfurt is networked with other leading ecosystems in Europe and the world. The two-day conference has developed magnificently over the past five years - most recently in February 2025 with over 1,000 participants from across Europe.
The focus of the sixth edition of **FRANKFURT DIGITAL FINANCE** was on central themes such as innovation and transformation financing in Europe, framework conditions such as the Capital Markets Union, growth strategies for the financial industry, the importance of European champions and the development of a strong digital middle class. In parallel, the sessions on the first conference day highlighted current tech trends in the European financial sector such as artificial intelligence, electronic securities and crypto & digital assets.
Also in 2025, the second conference day provides the framework for the **EuropeanFintechDay**, which brings together startups and scaleups from Europe's leading fintech hubs with potential customers, partners and investors. The focus here is on promoting growth in and from Europe: on the one hand through direct financing opportunities but also by exploring collaboration potential between established institutions and young companies.
