For the fifth time, we had the pleasure of organising the Glasurit customer trip for BASF (participants pay their own way). Thanks to the excellent value for money and the fantastic conditions, the trip was packed with highlights. To get everyone in the mood, breakfast was served in the mountains of Windhoek with breathtaking views. This was followed by two days in a private game reserve, where participants saw elephants, giraffes, hippos, crocodiles, lions and cheetahs up close. In Swakopmund, they rode quad bikes through the desert to enjoy sparkling wine and oysters on the Atlantic coast.

The catamaran tour in Walvis Bay will remain in everyone's memory, not only because of the visit of a seal on board, but also because of the uniquely delicious calamari. Another highlight was the SUV ride through the typical lunar landscape – the champagne for the cocktail reception was delivered by parachutists.

And the dinner setting in the middle of the stone desert couldn't have been more romantic: hundreds of candles, red carpet, campfire! The last stop was the Sossusvlei Lodge: flying over the dunes in a hot air balloon early in the morning will remain unforgettable!
