Work on recurring crises, conflicts and disasters was the subject of an internal three-day conference for 200 employees from all over the world that MIT organized in Frankfurt on behalf of GIZ (German Corporation for International Cooperation GmbH). GIZ’s international forum was established as an information platform with the aim of promoting cooperation and professional exchange between headquarters and employees in the crisis areas. In the plenary sessions and six parallel workshops, specialist skills were increased, interfaces designed and new products developed that further professionalize GIZ’s successful international work.
