Customer Trip to Namibia

For the fifth time, we had the pleasure of organizing and conducting a trip for BASF’s Glasurit customers (with paying participants). Due to the excellent value for money and the superb conditions, we were able to season the trip with numerous extras. In order to get the participants attuned, a breakfast with a breathtaking view was served in the mountains of Windhoek, followed by two days in a private game reserve, where elephants, giraffes, hippos, crocodiles, lions, and cheetahs could be met at close range.

In Swakopmund, the group drove ATVs through the desert to the Atlantic coast, where they enjoyed champagne and oysters. A seal’s visit on board turned a catamaran tour of Walvis Bay into a lasting memory, as did the delicious calamari served. Another highlight was an SUV excursion through a lunar-like landscape, where champagne for the cocktail reception was delivered by skydivers.

And the dinner setup in the midst of the rocky desert could not have been any more romantic: hundreds of candles, red carpet, campfire! The last stop of the journey was Sossusvlei Lodge: The early-morning ride in a hot-air balloon over the dunes was unforgettable!
