With plenty of imagination, creativity, and a given set of construction materials, each team will build their own soapbox before launching it in race against the vehicles the other teams have built. The basic construction set is the same for all, but style and design will make each soapbox different.

Participants will discuss, design, develop, and try to find the best solution. Skills and speed will be tested in a variety of racing challenges. The particpants also have to come up with a team design and brand their overalls accordingly, because not only the top racecar will be honored, but teams also compete for the coveted “special design award”!
